Since dead people have been voting for Democrats all these years--I see no reason why they can't fund raise for Republicans.

EWWW

One year younger than me. I hate obits of people who are in the vicinity of my age.

Wink Re: Obit

After decades of glancing at the Obits of perfect strangers in the local paper, this is the very first time I got a good laugh out of one!

I hope the late Mr. Snyder appreciates!

Tasteless. Are even obituaries fodder for political divisiveness now? And yes, I would have exactly the same opinion had the writer targeted a Republican.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Bob’s humorous outlook on life, please feel free to make contributions to whoever may be running against Obama in 2012.

I would hazard a guess that the obituary was written by those who knew him best...family, close friends, etc. If they felt he would appreciate it what is "tasteless" about it?

Of course you would. Maybe you would like a law to prevent "offensive death speech?"

Mr.Grigsby has been offending Demwits for 120 years with his bad taste.

"Through this inscription I wish to enter my dying protest against what is called the Democratic party. I have watched it closely since the days of Jackson and know that all the misfortunes of our nation have come to it through this so called party. Therefore, beware of this party of treason."

BTW you are jumping to conclusions about whether the OP was pro-Republican. A Democrat could be "running against Obama" in 2012. After the Dim party is destroyed this November they could conceivably (through not likely) wise up and rid themselves of this pox to their party...BHO.
