Does this go here, or the other one? Who knows...one of the GM's will move it if it's all wrong.

The new Harry Potter book is due out in June, I'm excited!!! Looks like we get to find out WHY Voldemort wanted to kill Harry when he was a baby.

me too, this morning. :D

I can't wait for Alexa to be old enough to read these books with me. They're all on her shelf next to the Anne of Green Gables, Bronte' sisters and Nancy Drew books. :D

Yes, Mikey, we are. And our first order of business after The Great Day will be to replace every Bible on earth with a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Since this is a Harry Potter thread..

I was reading some info on some of the info sites on coming movies. (PS. If you love LOTR, DO NOT GO THERE. December WILL NOT come quick enough!)

Seems both Christoper Lee and Ian Mclean (sp? Gandalf) are both up as possible replacements for Richard Harris.

Also saw some talk of both HP3 and LOTR:ROTK being released in both regular format and IMAX.

My husband won;t go see HP with me (jerk) so I have to wait for DVD. Was it good? (pine pine)

IMAX would be great for HP, imagine Quiddich in IMAX.....

Anyway, I'm not into LOTR, but good luck with that, it would be cool in IMAX too I'm sure.

Both as well as local dialects, in order to reach a great audience. At least that's what the lemurs told me... oops! I just said too much.

Jeny: I enjoyed it. I actually think this second one was a tad better than the first HP movie. I do not think it did as well in the theaters, but it was still a good show from my perspective.

Why don't you go yourself? There are some movies that my wife likes that I just CAN NOT STOMACH. (Girlie flicks, what can I say? Its a guy thing..) So she will go to those sometime and I have no problemo with it.

BTW, we both went and saw "Kangaroo Jack" the other day. Its stupid funny, but there are lots of laughs in it. We both enjoyed it.

I would go see it myself...but I would feel dumb... My ONE friend who would have seen it with me went on opening night. The rest of my friends are not exactly on the Harry Potter love train.

Anyway, it's ok, I'm not to keen on movie theaters, dirty. This way, I can buy the DVD when it comes out. It'll only be a few months anyway. Thesedays, they don;t hold out for a year before they release movies to video/DVD. Too much money to be made in it I guess.

I'll be looking around March for a movie to take my nephew to. I'm going back East and I promised him one night out with Aunt Jeny alone, like we used to do before I had my baby. He's the oldest of al of our kids, he misses all the individual atnetion now that everyone else has had babies.
