I like to hang out with the common folks too much.

I have been so busy these last couple of days that I haven' gotten the time in that I wanted. That plus I fell last night when I got up to pee and hit my left forhead on the toilet. Now, as the day draws to a close it looks like I am going to have a shiner. Great.

I got up too fast and knew I was getting dizzy but am so used to feeling my way around at night that I didn't put my head down like I should have. I think I passed out (for just an instant) and hit my head on the pot. Came-to in a pile of clothes I threw on the bathroom floor last night. Hubby calling sleepily from bed - "What happened ?" I answered - " I don't know". And I didn't. Then he asks where I am - I didnt' know that either. Felt shitty all day. Not REALLY bad but just kind of woozy and the left side of my face feels like dentist medication wearing off. Eyelid is fat and purple and feels heavy. Yuk. My mom tells me gravity will make the color spread below my eye. We will be taking family pics for Thanksgiving. Heavy make-up is in order.

Moral of my story. IF you get up too fast at night when you go pee and you start to get dizzy - don't think you only have five more feet to go to the pot and chance it - Stop. Put your head down. When the blood is normal again - you may procede.

I may post a pic of my gross eye so everyone can see my battle wound. I am going to tell folks that my hubby smacked me. That should serve him right for being too sleepy to come get me.

But he did buy me little skid-proof slippers today and bring me ice-packs -as I milked it for all it was worth.
