Court: Rape Can Occur Even After Consent
Tuesday January 7, 2:01 am ET
Mike McKee, The Recorder
When a woman says no to sex, even after intercourse has begun, a man had better pay attention.
On Monday, the California Supreme Court ruled 6-1 that it's rape if a man continues to have sex with a woman who originally consented but then changed her mind.

Boy,that'll sure give a poor slob some added incentive to make DAMN sure he delivers the big O... :o
And to stay awake at least for a few minutes.
How many thrusts qualify as "continue to have sex"? I mean, if we're going to be specific here, we should be really clear. If the guy has good momentum going, it might be hard to IMMEDIATELY stop. What if she's on top, does he have to actively PUSH her off? If I go on, which I could, will this topic be moved to hell? :o

This is the sort of legal mudhole you end up with when the feminist lawyers with the 'all sex is rape' PC hangup are allowed to run rampant.

What if a man says no? (stop snickering, damn it, I'm serious)
Otherwise, shouldn't it be worded "When a man continues to have sex at a woman" instead of "with"?

seriously, I'm not laughing, if a guy doesn't want to, won't he ahhh, lose it, making it impossible to have sex anyway?

Thanks! I'll have a hard time explaining it to the wife, but WTF! A man has got to protect himself. Now, not everyone could afford such a marvel of modern technology (but it is sure cheaper than a wife) so I was thinking of something with a bit more MASS APPEAL just for the guys in California:

The "Lai Mi Doll with Pump" $24.95 (plus S & H). (Psst: Guardian: Anytime this goes over the line, please don't hesitate!)
This thread is definately going to hell.

The problem with this is that it's just another weapon that can be used against men by vindictive women. It removes all elements of personal responsibility on the part of the woman. Think about it. The chick gets undressed (or partially undressed) and hops into bed (or wherever) with a guy and they start having sex. She's already CONSENTED. a minute and a half in she decided she'd rather be getting a manicure so she yells STOP!. Now if the guy doesn't turn into a statue and immediately get the hell away from her (like in a second), she can go to the police station and have him charged with rape. ::)

That's right. It's alomost the same thing is when the woman gets totally F'in trashed, and the guy probably is too, then they do it and then she yells rape in the morning.

John Z didn't seem to be forcing her at all.........really a bs call.
Now if he flat out wouldn't let her go, .....arm twisted behind her back or something, then that would have been different. Or even causing her pain in the act itself, to where she needed to stop.................but to decide maybe she didn't have time after all...........I don't think so. "I'll hurry" would be almost every guy's response.
This is the way for women to be taken more seriously ::)

I personally think it is meanspirited to ask a man to bed, then scream rape once in the sack. This has got to be one of the scummiest forms of female powerplay going.

What about flirting a guy up and then screaming "sexual harrassment." That one really pisses me off too.
That is why the lines between acceptable teasing and flirting and unacceptable advances continue to be blurred. For every advance made in the proper direction there is some dumb bitch or idiot guy who sets the whole thing back because they entirely lack common sense.

The boy's attorney was on Fox News last night. It seems there are a few details that were left out.
First, there were three people involved....all age 17. The 17 year old girl invited 2 boys into a room to have sex. The first boy was also charged with rape even though there is no indication she ever asked him to stop in any way. He made a plea bargain with the court. The girl never said "no" or "stop". She said she needed to go home.
Was the attorney, by chance, a woman? Perhaps...braless? And a little militant looking??

That's because you don't have your eyes peeled for it. providing that kind of information happens to be a man's job.

The bra comment was tounge in cheeck. ;)
So the little bitch invited two guys into the room to shag her. Now it seems so much clearer. Someone found out about what she did and told her parents. To save face with her folks she said she was raped. I'll bet you anything she loved every minute of it until mummy and daddee found out. I'll bet you anything that's exactly how this happened.

Trust me she had the time of her life. She probably just got scared when she thought about what would happen when other people found out or talked about it.

The first boy was guilty of post-coital rape. This occurs when a girl realizes she should have said no, but it didn't occur to her until after the act. Give me a break, I'm in California and making this up as I go along.
Many MANY years ago when I was but a young thing, my date and I were walking along the beach late at night. After some preliminary making out, he grabbed me by the hair, threw me down to the sand and ripped my clothes off. Then made violent love to me. It never occured to me that might be rape. I took him home and didn't let him go for three days! After three days, his back was so far out of whack I had to call the paramedics because he couldn't stand up.
Now that I think about it I might have been raped! Oh my. I wonder where he is now.
