Tomorrow is June 1st. June 1st is always the day I break out my Christmas planner. I need to weed through my card list and start to make my gift list. Plus we're thinking of throwing a party this year. Any good menu ideas? ;D

This is very sad.

Most people haven't even broken out their BBQ's yet and you're worrying about who gets a friggin Xmas card.

Very, very, very sad.

who needs to "break out" the BBQ? We have it out all year. ;D

I'm not worrying bad, I am a planner. When everyone else is worrying, I'll be enjoying a glass of wine in front of my tree because everything will be done. :)

When I was growing up there was a family down the street that actually had Christmas in July for a few years.

It began when the dad was going to be gone overseas for almost a year and would miss Christmas with his family. They had like 8 kids if my memory serves me correctly. At any rate they decided to do Christmas in July before he was deployed. Even decorated the outside of their house. They made quite an extravaganza out of it.

Ever play hide-and-seek at night with the neighbors Christmas lights shining in July? ;D

We have a family here in town that had christmas in april for that reason. The Dad had done his stint in Alert, and when it was raining and we were all thinking about the lawns and gardens, they had a big family celebration and their Christmas lights were shining . :)

My grocery list is organized by department and rows according to how my grocery store is set up. :)

Make fun of me if you want, but I can actually send my husband to the store with my list and when he returns he has purchased everything exactly as I have written, like a good boy. :)
