Saddam: We're ready for war

Saddam Hussein today warned the West that his country was ready for war, in a dramatic live TV address to the Iraqi people.

In his toughest speech yet he said his army had the strength to stand firm, and dismissed President George Bush's threats as the "hiss of snakes and bark of dogs". He also accused the United Nations weapons inspectors now searching his country for evidence of illegal arms as acting as spies for the West.

Is that such a bad thing? Do you know what would happen to our economy if we were paying 7 bucks a gallon at the pump?

Like it or not, the health of our economy is tied to the security of our nation.

............in the west of the Kuwaiti Threater theRepublican Guards fought to the death. On February 26 3 US Armored and Mechanised Divisions and 1 armored calvary regiment (1000 M1-A! tanks) plowed into the lines of the Iraqui Tawakalnah 'alla Allahh Mechanized Divison of the Republican Guard. In roughly 12 hours of visicious combat, the Americans obliterated the Tawakalah Division-destroying nealy every one of the Divisions 300 operable tanks & APC's.- but the Americans came away with a great deal of respect for the Republican Guards, who fought on despite being outnumbered, out gunned and outmatched in every way..............
