The year before last, I swore I'd never have a "cut" tree again and went out and splurged and got one of those artificial trees that has 1200 pre-strung lights on it, it rotates and does all kinda weird shit. I can have it put up in less than five minutes...well, if I would have taken it down from last year, that's as long as it would take me, I mean.

Noble firs...my LEAST favorite xmas tree. My fav is Scotch Pine...as to the "scent," yes, indeed, I use the Lysol Pin-Fresh (tm)...and rather than light a fire, I have one of those DVD's I put on the big screen that's nothing but a crackling fire place 24 hours a day.

I like technological shit. :)

I used to do that...kinda ran out of room at a few houses...thta was in my "tree hugger" days. I also used to take those plastic thingies that held the coke cans together and cut them up because I heard that sea gulls would get tangled in them and die. I stopped doing that when I thought "Who gives a fuck about sea gulls anyways? All they are is rats with wings."

I recycle the cans. I haven't bought any with the plastic rings in a long time. I usually buy the 12 packs that come in those flimsy boxes. But, yes, I cut up the ringie things when I did buy them that way.

I was never sure shy I did that. "They" say these things are dangerous for turtles and other critters. I always wondered why these critters would be crawling around at the dump anyhow. But because "they" said that was what I was supposed to do, that was what I did. :D
