Water is a human necessity.

Without food, a person can survive weeks. Without water, the odds of surviving more than a few days are not good.

In fact, approximately 70% of the human body is water. The only thing more important than water to the human body is oxygen.

Water serves several purposes within the body. It:
Maintains body temperature
Aids in digestion
Metabolizes fat
Lubricates organs
Cushions organs
Transports nutrients
Flushes out toxins
The body excretes water constantly through sweat, urine and exhaled air, which is why it's so important to replenish your body with an ample amount of water every day. Most health professionals agree that the average human body requires from eight to 10 glasses of water a day. To determine how much water you should be drinking, check out Your Daily Water Needs.

How odd that "Big Bang" created this planet with all this water......and not a single drop on another planet...

That Mother Nature sure is smart. ::)

Since I've never been to another planet, and you have, I suppose I'll just have to agree with you.

By and large, not one of your most brilliant posts.

It's up your ass, stupid. ::)

Out of the billions and billions of planets in this universe, we're the only one with water.

Got it.

Maybe some guys on other planets don't need water to survive?

By the way, I love the Coleridge/

That's true. Maybe water is poisonous to other creatures on other planets...but you have to realize...to NorNec, if there ARE other creatures on other planets, it would destroy his entire concept of reality.

Did you know that the coronas of some comets are made out of ice?

Wait. Ice is water, isn't it, huh?

Mother nature is funny that way.

You're the one that is canceling out the possibility of extra-terrestrial life out of your fear of your entire belief system collapsing...not me.

Now who's the moron? ;D

If there really was life out "there"......what would cause me to deny my faith? I really think the proof falls on your shoulders....I know, but if you lift weights, it will help.

You're the one that's making the blanket statements that there isn't a "drop of water" on any other planet.

What kind of credibility to you think that instills in you...and the rest of your beliefs?

Let me give you a hint.

None.

Why do you like me NorBert? Trust me I am one of the less out there people on this planet. I wasn't aware there was a 'code' to break. I just noticed that the letters in your moniker could spell Conner. I prefer it to NorNec. :-*

Even something necessary for survival can kill you if you get too much of it or consume it in the wrong way.

Overconsumption of fluid (either water or sports drinks) before, during or after exercise is unnecessary and can have a potentially fatal outcome, warns a sports medicine expert in this week's issue of the British Medical Journal (BMJ).

The warning, written by Timothy Noakes of the Sports Science Institute of South Africa, explains that drinking excess fluids can lead to hyponatraemic encephalopathy (brain damage arising from severely low sodium levels in the blood), and provides the recent example of the death of a female athlete in the 2002 Boston marathon due to hyponatraemic encephalopathy.

Brain damage and/or death!?!?! OMG! :o That's worse than marijuana!

By all means, this substance must be criminilized and controlled before it causes even one more death.

Many older people like to advise young mothers to give their newborn babies bottles of water, but water poisoning in infants is very easy to achieve so newborn babies should NEVER be given water. Go breastmilk! ;D
