C'mon, buzz. Sheesh. ::) "Bloods?" These are two hard-assed (or used to be) gangs. Bloods are in the West L.A., Long Beach area and the Crips (short for they'll cripple you) are more into downtown and the seamer sides of L.A. They've gained a lot of notoriety in the past but pretty much not hearing much out of them lately. The members must be growing up or something. Both black gangs.

Crips and Bloods are both black and all over the place. Started in Compton I think, but are nationwide now. Real nasty dudes.............but not all dumbasses. They have some real organization on both sides. Competitors in the drug trade..........mostly chemicals. They used to shoot eachother up but seem to have come to territorial agreements for now.

The nation traditionally has bad mouthed both as enemies of the black race, manipulated by the white devil to destroy the black man. But it's all gotten to be big business now, so who knows what compromises and alliances have been made.

I've got to say that, though those of the nation seem to be snothole pricks, they also seem to have integrity and morals. But think we suck...........and are the enemy of rightiousness. (Just a general impression though.) White boys still own the drug trade for the most part, so they're not too far from wrong in a sense.

(In other words, Wallace Muhammad broke with the anti-Islamic beliefs and practices of the NOI, including its racism.) It is a bitterly ironic turn of fate that Islam, the most self-consciously nonracist religion, has, in the slums of America, been turned into a prime vehicle of racism. And therein, apparently, lies much of its attraction.

In my opinion, there are many factions who hate the mainstream enough to unite against her....Some for rebellion's sake, some for a sure cause for something or another, some because they simply have nothing else going for them....
