I guess in about 7 months time if things go ok, and I'm a bit worried at the moment as my wife is bleeding a bit in the nether region.

The people at the hospital said it was not uncommon and told her to rest.

She has had some problems with her uterus (?) before she said, and lost one fetus at three months about 10 years ago.

Hoping everything turns out well.

(hope someone still remember me :) )

Moonchild,

Congratulations. I am sure your wife will be fine.

As soon as Supermom Jeny hears about this, be prepared to find out more than you ever wanted to know about all kinds of stuff you never wanted to know about to begin with. ;D

Congratulations Moonchild to you and the Mrs. I spotted with my second one and was told to rest which I did and had a healthy 9 1/2 pound baby. I'm sure her doctor will keep a close eye on things. Keep us posted on how things progress.... all us women here love babies. :)

It went wrong last night as I feared.

7 weeks old and we already had a name for her. Could smell the typical baby smell; see her running across the lawn.

But last night the moon went black and all that could have been will not happen.

Tanks all.

....if we can do anything.

You already have. I just wanted to air my concern somewhere. Somewhere I was not to well know, as it’s a bit personal, but with knowledgeable people. NoPC popped up as an alternative.

Sadly my fears came through very soon.

On the bright side, my mother said that there was ways to deal with a low uterus. Although we lost this child we will be able to try again and with a great hope of going the whole 9 yards this time.

For some reason my doc had my wife in two times before setting her up for a gynaecological check up. If he had done it sooner we might have been able to prevent the abortion.

We are scheduled for the gynaecological check tomorrow.

Moonchild,

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but encouraged about the bright side. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, as the saying goes. Wishing you and your wife the best; you should come around more often. :(

Moonchild..
I am so sorry for your's and your wife's loss.
The medical system has made leaps and bounds helping people who have trouble conceiving and trouble carrying babies to term successfully achieve their goals .
You will feel much more confident after you talk to the gynechologist. Give your wife a hug.. her hormones are alll flippy right now and I'm sure she is a wreck.
Good luck.

Sorry for not replying, I have been on a tree week vacation.

We are trying to get back into the saddle now. The check up showed that nothing is wrong with her, and although she is scared she wants to try one more time.

She is scared of doctors, scared of needles and scared of the pain when things go wrong, so quite a trooper :)
