Have it professionally cleaned.

Or...put it in your bathtub with warm water and woolite. Agitate by hand and lay it out flat to dry.

yeah I just got done looking it up ........ thanks.....You and Pony both say lay it flat and the website I checked says low heat with tennis balls to break up the clumps.........I think I'll have it done since it's a really good bag....

If it doesn't have fairly small squares quilted into it.. don't do it yourself.. or you will have a ball of feathers all at one end..

We wash ours in the washer with woolite on gentle cycle and then dry it with tennis balls. Never had a problem with them.

Actually probably any liquid laundry soap would work.... we've always used Woolite because I have it on hand for delicate fabrics. 8)

Oh I plan on loudly proclaiming what I need it for..........if I don't just end up using Ivory dish soap.... :P.........I use it for grout release as it doesn't have oils or fragrance.........so have some on hand

Right now I have to go rent a big field string mower and mow my yard or the city says they're going to do it..... ::).....intrusive cocksuckers.... ;D

If you washed your down bag with woolite, it is probably in a garbage dump somewhere as I write....

why?
I have washed down filled coats.. down filled comforters..and used harsher soaps than woolite.

That's why God made dry cleaners. Just send it there and not waste your time you could be doing something else you want to do.

I would clean my own because I would not be able to afford to pay for the dry cleaner.
Reality bites, eh? ;D

I always do the... clean my own vs ruin it and have to pay more money to replace it thing in my head.

I do the "clean my own or leave it dirty cause my money pays for kid's soccer and food" thing in my head. ;D
Replacement simply isn't an option. If I have a down comforter.. it's cause someone gave it to me .
When I buy clothing.. I would never buy something that was dry clean only.. wash and hang is a have to be.

What a lazy ass you are Tilekins. And when will it's day come? Like next time you need to use it.... or will you just tell yourself, "oh it's not that dirty, I'll use it this time and then clean it". ;D
