and it ain't finished..
It started at 5 am.. when i had brewed my coffee.. to find that my daughter had drank 1.5 litres of milk AFTER supper and neglected to tell me she emptied it.. so..black coffee. a piss off to begin with.
Mentally ill woman at work flipped out till I yelled at her.. had to do banking, which always stresses me out.. and then I stopped to photocopy the pieces of ID i need for my University admissions and couldn't find my passport.. which I was CERTAIN I had brought. Panic mode at the store.. searching the van trying to find my passport in case it had dropped out.
Now I'm home, my passport was on the table.. and I have milk for my coffee. But first the beer.. 8)

I'm having a lovely day. The children are all behaving in spite of the fact that it is pouring down rain and we can't go outside. It's almost lunch time for the darlings and then naps. Then I will have about 2 hours of quiet in the house. Did I mention it's a great day! ;D

No wonder you put this under the health and fitness forum.

Stress is bad for your health. Stress relief is one of the 4 basic things crucial for good health (along with healthy diet, regular exercise and adequate sleep).

There are different ways to accomplish relief from stress. You got to find a couple that work for you personally. Deep breathing, meditation, yoga, quiet time, curling up with a good book, a short vacation, whatever gives you a break from the hassles of life will work. Prescription drugs are an option (though one I personally would leave as the very last one). I believe alcohol (though potentially dangerous) is OK used in moderation. Smoking marijuana is a good stress reliever as well (you just knew I was going to bring that up, didn't you?). ;D

I had my daughter at my workplace the other day while a particulalry uncomfortable scene was happening, and my co workers were concerned she should not see such a dispaly. Myself.. I think it's ok for kids to learn the world isn't always " normal".
I'd rather teach my kids love and acceptance of different kinds of people, than acceptance only if they fit a pattern.

I'm a little sad..
One of my little buddies , who is 81, fell on my shift yesterday. The hospital told me they were keeping him overnight so a radiologist could read his hip x-ray..which I knew wasn't what I wanted to hear.. but I was clinging to that 5% chance that he didn't have a fracture.
Rats.. they transported him to the city for hip surgery today . :(
