We have had some problems with the online indicator showing a user not logged on when they really are. Would you please let me know if you are one of these users; if you are, please let me know the following details:

1. Browser (who makes it, what version)
2. O/S you are using (Win XP Pro, Win 2K, et al)
3. Did this just become an issue or has this behavior always been present?

Thanks!

3. Just became an issue after the last upgrade.

I have been told that if a person logs on here and then opens another window and enters the IM function, that they can refresh on the original window and will not show up as logged on.

I'm doing that now, and it still shows me in the 'Users Online' list on the front page, but it doesn't show me in 'users browsing this forum'.

<shrug>

[Edit: In fact, the only person that does show up as browsing a particular forum is LaL. And there are quite a few folks here, all over the board.]

IE5.

Win 98.

After last upgrade. Shows online but not which forum.

Somewhat odd sidenote: Late last night, there were 10 guests online but none showed on forums. Are we being attacked? ;D

No, you are not being attacked. Lance may have not explained this, SuperMod is in alpha stages. What that means is each participant of the prerelease program is supposed to report back the little bugs. We are debugging the package before it is released. I am in the process of upgrading his installation with the newest files. This online problem should clear up now. Report back if it don't and any other bugs you noticed. Try to be descriptive of the oddity, what are you seeing and where you are at and what were you doing. Repeat the steps and see if it happens again. Report the details to Lance and he will report them to me.
