For those of us acting like incubators - or even THINKING about incubating in the future - the Feds are getting ready to issue a warning on tuna due to the mercuricial risk.

They say you can have a litte - I, personally, would not chance it. Who knows how much mercury is too much?

Saw this on the news last night. I was making tuna about once a week for my husband's and Alexa's lunch, but sometime early in the first trimester, the smell made me toss my cookies, violently. I then threw all the tuna in my house OUT and banned it from the house indefinately.a VERY strong aversion.

Apparently the recommendation is no tuna for preggers and limited tuna for women of child bearing age, and young children. 12 ounces a week max, they say. Mercury is not cool.

I have read that you also be careful of food supplements that are derived from fish, such as 'omega 3 fatty acids' from fish oil.
