View Full Version : Fuck Christmas
Strawberry Alarm Clock - Incense And Peppermints
Good sense, innocence, cripplin' and kind.
Dead kings, many things I can't define.
Oh Cajun spice, sweats and blushers your mind.
Incense and peppermints, the color of thyme.
Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.
Incense and peppermints, meaningless nouns.
Turn on, tune in, turn your eyes around.
Look at yourself, look at yourself,
Yeah, yeah.
Look at yourself, look at yourself,
Yeah, yeah,
Yeah, yeah.
Tune-a by the cockeyed world in two.
Throw your pride to one side, It's the least you can do.
Beatniks and politics, nothing is new.
A yardstick for lunatics, one point of view.
Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.
Good sense, innocence, crippled and kind.
Dead kings and many things I can't define.
Oh Cajun spice, sweats and blushers your mind.
Incense and peppermints, the color of thyme.
Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.
Incense, peppermints, incense, peppermints.
Sha-la-la, sha-la-la.....

I like the lyrics, but I think you should take your Christmas attitude and go straight to hell with it. :-* :)

You guys are not supposed to be encouraging bad. You don't know how hard I've worked at getting him to keep the damn tree up for Christmas. :)

Yep, my feeling exactly. I'm not such a Christmas person myself. This year I'm working though it, I haven't bothered to put a stitch of decoration up and both of our families are far far away.
Think I'm gonna get some catnip for the cats. That's the only concession to the season I'm going to make - that and go see the new Lord of the Ring film on Christmas Day (and maybe get drunk). ;D

Same here. I'm just as broke on a holiday as I am any other day.

Save some liver for us. We want you back. ;D
Christmas: That time of year when you can show everyone you resent how much you REALLY care by dipping into your own personal resources and buying shit for them that they don't really want so that you can be poor the rest of the year by paying 20 % financing on your revolving credit.
