Troubles with site?

I haven't been able to get here the last day and a half, anyone else have the same problem?

The whole server was down. See news item above.

What happened was the datacenter NoPC's server is housed in was switching out batteries in a UPS. Somehow, the power variances blew or caused some trouble with some network switches that NoPC was on.

They had to move the server to a new rack and re-start it.

For some oddball reason, the name services (what resolves the name "nopc...et al") did not start. That problem was corrected this morning and here we are!

Not to sound paranoid, but I thought I had been banned. :o

Of course, I've never done anything to warrant such treatment.

Ok. Bottom line is the main supported browser for both YABBSE (base board) and Supermod is IE. There are some "issues" with the other browsers, this "wiggle" appears to be one of them. I imagine the plan will be to correct the problem eventually, but since about 80% of the world appears to be IE right now...it is waaaaaaaay down on the to-do list.

How do you turn off that 'your mood' thing? It seems once you choose it you're stuck with it. ::)

I believe the final release of this version of Supermod will allow you to disable moods in your profiles. It is not in this alpha version yet. You can change it by clicking the various "moods" at the top of the page.
