View Full Version : Very old blood
Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Lula. I'm as old as dirt. I have two grown children. I am a fairly new widow and I work as a School Crossing Guard.
NosmoKing & I forgot your member name, CC! Have been asking me to join here. So here I am.
Anyway, I own a 1972 Nova, and go to car shows. I like to do so many things. I love going on the rides. Especially the Merry-Go-Round. But my favorite is the pirate ship! I like to travel, crochet and drink from time to time, my favorite drink is a Long Island Ice Tea. I like long walks on the beach at midnight. If there's a fullmoon all the better.
My politics are Moderate. Something I haven't seen in years.
That's about it for now.

Welcome. I am sorry to hear of your loss.
We run the gamut here, from ultra conservative to flaming liberal. Many are in between.
All is relative, I supposed the term moderate encompases the ultra moderate to flaming moderate, too. :D
You will generally find someone here, almost 24/7 for those nights you may have trouble sleeping, a happenstance I, at 58 (old bird, too :D ) am finding occurs more and more.
Glad you found us. HAve fun.

I think a lot of people are more interested in "chat" than in discussion.
When they realize they will be required to actually state a position on various issues and the support that position, they go looking elsewhere.

I'm not very interested in politics this year. Obama is nauseating. He thinks he's a rock star. I'm not crazy about McCain, but I like Palin.
Neither party helps me. I've tried a zillion times to get help whenever there was an important issue and time and time again. All I got were empty promises... So why vote?
I might vote for a 3rd party.

Help. They help no one but themselves to our money and tell us lies about how they'll help us.
I might NOT vote at all.
