HAPPY MARCH 1st!

Spring is just three weeks away! Time to think about the garden (for me here in the north anyway). As soon as the snow melts I'm going to be busy. I still have last years perrenials sticking out of the snow.

Watching snow melt is like waiting for a snail to cross the street.... :-\

Today at the hospital,they gave my dad his dinner. He ordered pepper steak and noodles,but to me it looked more like alpo and noodles. He told me he won't ask for that meal again. I don't blame him.

My dad has lost so much weight, the doctor said if we can get him to eat...then bring in whatever he wants. He has lost about 25 lbs. and he was not a big man to begin with.

Next to having a bunch of lakes here we also have the trees...I live in 5 acres of tall oaks. It's messy during the fall...but I love the trees. Except when we get the tornado warnings and I watch the trees bend to the ground in the wind.

We have one tree on our property, old oak that is about 100 years old. Boy if that tree could talk...

Well my dad is on a special diet. Even if he has to eat that slop they call food at the hospital he's not going hungry.

Never made the association or thouught about it til I had my daughter on March 4th and she's been "Marching forth ever since." ;)

But when I think about the date I'm at in March, I visualize a line of people, who's to march 1st, then march 2nd, march 3rd, etc., in line?

I'd have five if my hubby would let me. He didn't even want one and so I'm lucky I have her. Course I had to have one that grew to 95 lbs. She is my baby...and I love her to pieces. ;D

No, after she got past the one or two year dig and chew stage...he warmed up to her. She is hard not to love...she looks like a big brown furry bear.
