I recently restored my puter to the" original factory condition" complete with removing and reinstalling the partitions..

Sounds like it's in your tools/internet options/advanced and then click the box that says not to allow animations.

Pony: More than likely your computer. The "animation" in this case is animated gif files. The play animations in web pages should be what controls it. (For some of these settings, you do have to restart the browser for it to take effect.)

COuld have been low on resources. If your 'puter is older, and doesn't have a lot of RAM and such....if you had a lot open at the time, the animations can stop until resources are freed up.
