DAMASCUS, Syria - Leaders of Syria and France discussed ways Thursday to coordinate their positions on the U.N. Security Council to avert a war on Iraq, the official Syrian Arab News Agency reported.

So now France and Syria are forming a coalition. This should NOT come as a surprise to anyone.

It is amazing that they believe the Security council is going to dictate the actions of the United States and their allies. Why on earth would we listen to any council that honors a country that is designated as a state sponsor of terrorism?
